Acupuncture

The art and science of acupuncture has been used for thousands of years in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). According to TCM, when your energy or Qi (pronounced "chi") is out of balance, your body cannot adapt to stress and this causes chronic illnesses. Acupuncture can bring the Qi back into balance and by balancing the yin and yang your body can heal optimally. Acupuncture is very effective for pain management, athletic injuries, hormonal disorders and digestive concerns, to name a few.

Benefits of Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been shown to help decrease cravings, headaches, wrinkles and PMS pain. Acupuncture has also been known to increase fertility rates in people, without the use of fertility "drugs."

Private Acupuncture

Acupuncture at The Healing Oasis is performed by our Naturopathic Doctor. It may be incorporated into your treatment plan along with other therapies or as a stand-alone treatment. Your sessions can be private or in a group setting in community acupuncture. To book a private acupuncture session please call the clinic 705.722.1004 or book online with Whitney under Naturopathic Medicine on the Team page.

Community Acupuncture

Acupuncture does not need to be expensive to be effective. Community acupuncture makes the treatments affordable and accessible to everyone by offering a sliding scale from $20-$40. Rather than treating patients individually in a private room, several people receive treatments at the same time in a larger treatment room. To book a community acupuncture session, please call the clinic 705.722.1004 or book online with Whitney under Community Acupuncture on the Team page.
